Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (wisman) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entry points in July 2024 reached 22,918 visits, while in June 2024 there were 17,809 foreign tourists who visited Sumatera Utara.
In the period January - July 2024, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 27.11 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 112,271 visits in January - July 2023 to 142,707 visits in the period 2024
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Sumatera Utara in July 2024 averaged 49.05 percent, or increased by 0.35 points compared to June 2024 which was 48.70 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.30 days during July 2024, down 0.05 points compared to June 2024 which was 1.35 days.
